About Us: The Struggle Clothing

The mission of the brand, The Struggle Made Me, is to empower individuals by giving them a platform to share their personal stories of struggle and resilience. We aim to highlight how the challenges people face shape who they become, turning hardships into powerful narratives of growth, strength, and transformation. Through this, we inspire others to embrace their own struggles and recognize the strength they gain from overcoming adversity, fostering a sense of connection, empowerment, and shared human experience.

Kierre Hawkins founded The Struggle Made Me in 2019 during the COVID-19 pandemic. While finishing his college career at Youngstown State University, Kierre gave back to his community by providing food to the homeless, speaking at elementary schools for free, and investing in Black-owned businesses in Youngstown and Cleveland, Ohio. Despite tearing his ACL twice, which ended his sports career, Kierre found his purpose in helping others and turning his struggles into a platform for empowerment and growth.

Kierre Hawkins now has a beautiful family and is focused on giving God glory in every moment of his life. He continues to use his experiences and struggles to inspire others, staying rooted in faith while making a positive impact on those around him.
